2-4 hours (more or less depending on case by case basis). During the session the brow artist shapes and styles client brows to give the most esthetically pleasing shape based on clients face shape and preference. Please be advised that brows are sisters and not twins. Your brows will not be completely identical but the goal is to have them match as best as possible. No ones face is completely symmetrical and all of this is taken into account when creating your ideal brow shape.

DISCLAIMER: Understand that we reserve the right to refuse tattooing of shape deemed unflattering by your brow artist. We know your brow shape may already be beautiful, however that does not mean they are the most beautiful shape for your face! Trust the expertise of your artist.

After brow shape is approved the pigment color is chosen. Pigment color is chosen based on skin color and natural hair color. Once shape and color choice are approved, we begin the procedure. 2-3 passes are usually required to implant pigment into skin. A mandatory follow up visit is required in 4-6 weeks to touch up any necessary areas of brows and make adjustments, if needed. The touchup process usually takes approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.

*Babies and children cannot be present during the procedure so please make the necessary arrangements in advance*

A consultation is required before all permanent brow procedures and removal. It can be done via FaceTime/Skype and with a required photo or in-person. At this time we talk about the procedure, client expectations/preferences, realistic goals, before and aftercare and the healing process. Consent forms will be signed and a non-refundable deposit will be needed to book appointment and will go toward price of procedure.

Yes, it may. It is a tattoo on your face. This procedure can be uncomfortable, however numbing cream is used to make the procedure more tolerable. Once skin is opened, after the first pass, brows are usually completely numb and client feels nothing. An anesthetic cream is used during first pass, however it’s most effective on open skin and the client may still experience some discomfort. You will feel pressure and a sensation similar to a paper cut and hear a Velcro like sound as the blade is used to implant pigment into the skin.

There is no down time for brow procedures, however total healing process takes up to 4-6 weeks.

It’s normal for your new brows to go through several phases. Immediately following the procedure, they may seem dark and strokes will appear very crisp. The brow area may be slightly red and swollen with light bruising after the procedure and part of the healing process. Once the swelling goes down any unevenness should disappear. In the following days the brows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. Don’t pick scabs as this will effect healing and final result. Brows will lighten in color as they heal (up to 20-40%). It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over and about 1 month for color to fully set in. You’ll notice the skin is very light 2 weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface skin is healed. True color will show up once completely healed. Once completely healed, the use of SPF is strongly recommended in order to prevent premature fading. Please note the procedure has to be fully healed before we can address any concerns.

Pain: there can be pain even after the topical anesthetic has been applied. Anesthetic works better on some people than others. It also works best after skin is opened during the second pass. Ladies please be advised that during cycle, pain may be more intense.

Infection: though this is rare and unusual, the treated areas must be kept clean and only freshly cleaned hands should touch the area during the healing process. Brand new sterile, disposable tools are used with each client to prevent infection and the spread of bloodborne pathogens. Signs of infection include yellow or green drainage from the site, fever, chills. In the rare even this occurs please let your artist know and seek care from a medical professional.

Uneven pigmentation: this can be a result of poor healing, infection, bleeding or various other causes. Your touchup will likely correct any uneven appearance.

Asymmetry: every effort will be made to avoid asymmetry but our faces are not perfectly symmetrical so this should be taken into consideration during the mapping stage.

Swelling and bruising: some people swell more than others which is normal. Ice packs may help bruising and swelling but usually disappears within 1-5 days after treatment. Most experience no bruising at all.

Allergic reactions: There is some risk of allergic reactions from anesthetic or from pigment. If you are prone to allergies a patch test can be done before having the procedure done. In the event of an allergic reaction notify the artist immediately and consult at medical professional.

4-6 weeks after the procedure a touch up will be required to fill in any spots needing more pigment, adjustment of shape after healing and to refine the brows to ensure they look beautiful and retains the color. It can last 1 – 3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle and will require a touch up at least once bi-yearly to yearly to keep them looking fresh. Touch-ups may be done as needed.

A lot of times it may be a matter of getting used to a new look. Immediately after having brows done, they are a lot darker than a client may be used to. This is normal and brows will fade up 20-40% and look more natural once healed. For others it may be a new shape they aren’t used to. All of this is normal and referred to as “brow shock”. Usually after the brows heal you’ll love them – be patient & trust the process! Should this not be the case, saline tattoo removal is available to lighten or remove any unwanted pigment.

Depends on how your hair grows. If you have sparse hair or hair that only grows within the new shape, then no. However, if you have a lot of hair that grows outside the shape, then brow maintenance will be required (tweezing, waxing, threading) which will be easier since shape will always be the same.

No, the goal is to keep as much natural hair and stay as close to natural shape as possible. It is not necessary to have brows waxed or threaded before procedure and is advised that you don’t do any of this before the appointment.

Microblading & Ombre Aftercare

Careful aftercare is essential to how your brows heal producing a beautiful lasting result
