Meet Kelly Owens, NP
Founder & Visionary of K.O. Blade & Beauty
I’m Kelly, the proud owner and founder of K.O. Blade & Beauty. For as long as I can remember, I have loved healthcare and beauty equally. As a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience and a dual-licensed Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health and Psychiatry, I decided to build a practice that offers the absolute best of both worlds.
What started as a passion for permanent makeup—where I am a board-certified PMU Artist—has grown into a comprehensive medical spa. Today, my expertise spans across medical weight loss, aesthetic injectables, advanced laser treatments, and specialized post-op care as a Vodder-certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) practitioner.
My philosophy is simple: self-care is mental healthcare. In addition to running K.O. Blade & Beauty, I work full-time at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, providing critical mental health services to female veterans. Working with these incredible women daily further validates my core belief that taking time away from a busy life to prioritize yourself is essential. There should be absolutely no judgment or guilt in doing what makes you feel beautiful inside and out, no matter what others have to say.
When I am not at the clinic or the VA hospital, my favorite role is being a mother to my two beautiful daughters. On my days off, you can usually find me traveling, shopping, and soaking up quality time with my family and friends.
